LATEST SENATOR DONNELLY
Senate bill would still raise costs, harm those with pre-existing conditions, and end HIP 2.0 as we know it
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly released the following statement today after the latest Senate health care bill was released. For weeks, Donnelly has been calling for bipartisan discussions and an end to the partisan, behind-closed-doors negotiations.
Donnelly said, “The latest version of the health care bill doesn’t look that much different than the last. It still would result in millions of Americans losing coverage, while many would pay more. If our goal is to reduce costs, protect people with pre-existing conditions, and preserve the good work states like Indiana have done to expand affordable health care, we need to work together.”
