LATEST SENATOR TESTER
(U.S. Senate) - U.S. Senator Jon Tester today announced over $10 million to improve access to affordable housing for Fort Peck, Blackfeet, and Flathead Reservations.
The funding comes from the Indian Housing Block Grant Program administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the construction and maintenance of affordable housing.
"When we tackle homelessness, we create stronger families, schools, and communities,"said Tester, a member of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. "This critical investment will help families build careers, lead healthy lives, and succeed in the classroom."
